英语二小作文是一种应用性短文，包括私人和公务信函、备忘录、告示等，而信件类题材又包括建议信、投诉信、邀请信、请/辞职信、申请信、道歉信、慰问信、祝贺信等十余种。

　　根据近几年考试考生可以注意到，英语二小作文的考察形式以书信类题材为主，2015年曾考过告示类作文，所以今年考试也要复习公告类小作文的格式和写作内容。
