【长句的译法】

　　弄清语法结构，找中心主干在找各层次内容，分析各层意思之间的关系，如逻辑，因果，时间顺序。再按汉语表达习惯译出。

　　1.顺序法

　　I think he realized discomfort, for he leant forward in his chair and spoke to me, his voice gentle, asking if I would have some more coffee, and when I shook my head I felt that his eyes were still upon me, puzzled.
